Information you provide
Website forms may collect your name, work email, firm website, email-marketing goals, email platform, list context, and the message you choose to submit. Email correspondence contains the address and information you choose to send. Please do not submit privileged communications, medical records, Social Security numbers, financial account data, or confidential client or matter information through a general website form.
How it is used
Information is used to respond to inquiries, provide a requested Email Snapshot or recommendations, prepare project scopes, administer an engagement, prevent spam, and maintain ordinary business records. Form information is not sold or rented and is not automatically added to an unrelated mailing list.
Service providers
The site is hosted by Netlify, Inc. Netlify may process form submissions, security information, and basic server logs needed to deliver and protect the site. Submissions are delivered to a business email account. Those providers process information under their own terms and privacy notices.
Analytics
This site uses Google Analytics 4 to understand general website usage, such as pages viewed, referral source, approximate location, device and browser information, and site interactions. Google Analytics may use cookies or similar browser storage. You may limit cookies through your browser settings or use Google's analytics opt-out tools.
Client email data
If a paid project requires access to an email platform or subscriber information, the scope of access, permitted use, security expectations, and offboarding are addressed in the project agreement. Access should be limited to what is reasonably needed for the work.
Retention
General inquiries and form submissions are normally retained for up to 24 months after the last contact, then deleted when no longer needed for business, tax, dispute, or legal-record purposes. Client project material is handled under the engagement scope.
Your choices
Email hello@clairewriteslaw.com to ask what you submitted, correct it, or request deletion, subject to information that must be retained for a valid business or legal reason.

The updated date below changes when this notice materially changes.
